i could see what she wished me to be
the exact opposite of everything i was
i think part of her just wanted to be free
and i wished i didnt completley understand
when she looked me in the eye it was then
i think i realised right away
even though i just wanted to kiss her
everything that had been left unsaid
was just too late to say
everything has been washed away
from the bottom of a rose shaped teacup
my heart just needs some time to mend
so please dont leave me alone forever
